My major interest is in the neural functioning and representation of human memory processes. To address these issues I integrate data from different domains that includes behavioral measures and event-related brain potentials (ERPs) supplemented by  neuropsychological data.

I am currently developing a project examining how reconstructive aspects of memory processes change with increasing age.

Another project examines the function of visual and verbal memory and corresponding scalp  recorded brain activity in pre- and post-operative epilepsy patients and normal controls. The findings of our study may broaden our understanding of the relationship between certain memory processes (i.e., recognition and recency memory) and the underlying functional neuroanatomy. I am also interested in auditory attentional mechanisms in patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
