Himself
I graduated from SUNY Purchase in  1980 with a B.A. in Biology.  I had researched and written my senior thesis in association with David Friedman's laboratory and became involved in the laboratory's research work after graduating.  I began as a research assistant, but  soon became involved with some of the required programming chores.  From that point on, I have been responsible for the  programming and technical requirements in the laboratory using a wide variety of computer languages and platforms. Most of my current work involves implementing cognitive experimental designs (including creating stimulus presentation programs) that interface with our EEG recording systems, and developing a suite of programs for formatting, analyzing, and displaying the laboratory's ERP and behavioral data on Windows platforms.  I am also responsible for the design of this web site.
