I graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in psychology and minor in biology. During my senior year I worked in the Cognitive Neuroscience ERP Lab where we studied how the expert’s brain distinguishes objects with which they are extremely familiar from those with which they are not, using both behavioral and ERP methods.

My duties at the Cognitive Electrophysiology Lab include the recruitment and screening of prospective participants, electrocap application and administering neuropsychological assessments to children and young adults.

I am especially interested in the development of memory and attention and how these cognitive processes change in aging populations and those afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease. Also, I have an interest in combining ERP with other brain-imaging techniques such as fMRI in order to study cognitive processes. In the future, I plan to attend graduate school for cognitive neuroscience or a related field.
